General Procedure Policies

Our Personnel

Employees of Pro Source Hydration are required to have an active and valid Texas Department of State Health Services certification of EMT-Intermediate (Advanced EMT) or EMT-Paramedic. Employees are able to perform approved treatments that are listed in this set of protocols only. Employees may only practice these protocols when currently employed and on duty for ProSource Hydration.

Conditions Of Treatment

ProSource Hydration is intended to treat the symptoms of Veisalgia (hangover) and to hydrate athletes before or after athletic performance. After performing the medical assessment and history taking, the employee should confirm that no treatments that would be contraindicated should be given prior to initiating treatment. Employees should refer all customers to the medical disqualifications for every client contact.
“When Desired” Policy
These protocols operate under the condition that the patient is medically and physically capable of receiving treatments and that the patient desires to receive treatment. Clients may choose to decline certain treatments outlined in treatment protocol. All procedures performed on patients after being cleared for treatment should be on a “when desired” basis.
